Q: When are caregivers available?
A:  Caregivers are available when you need them:  24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Q: Is there a minimum number of hours?
A:  Many times, caregivers hope to have a minimum shift of four hours.  There are many times, however, when two and three hour shifts are possible.

Q: What are type of qualifications do the caregivers have?
A:  We put all applicants though a rigorous, multi-step interview process and competency assessment.  Learn more about our Caregiver Selection Process.

Q: Can you provide medical and home nursing services?
A:  No.  Caregivers can only provide non-medical and companion services.

Q: If I am securing services for a family member, can you provide updates on their well being?
A:  Absolutely!  Caregivers will work with you to provide feedback as requested.

Q: How do I set up service?
A:  Email or call us at (800) 481-7977 to request a free in-home assessment.

Q: Do I need to sign a contract?
A:  You will be asked to sign a service agreement that describes our services, fees, guidelines and policies.  There is no long-term contract and you can terminate with 24 hours notice.

Q: Will Long Term Care Insurance pay for this type of service?
A:  Long Term Care policies are different, but most reimburse for in-home care.  We will work with you to help you understand your particular policy.

Q: How do I determine which services I need?
A:  We meet with you, with no obligation, to discuss your needs and requirements.  Family members are welcome and are encouraged to participate in the process.  Decisions about care will always be decided by you, keeping you in control.

Q: How do I pay for my services?
A:  Typically, our fees are private pay.  Standard health care and Medicare do not cover the costs of long term care.  Sometimes people do have long term care insurance, and we can work with you and your insurance company to request payment.
