Public Speaking. Corporate Training. Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

Acorn founder, Lorenzo Mejia, is an accomplished and invigorating speaker.  He has been interviewed on TV and radio and has presented before audiences in the US, Europe, Asia and Latin America.

Lorenzo is passionate about helping people understand the Alzheimer’s/dementia epidemic and how to deal with it when it touches their personal lives.  A former F500 executive, he is comfortable before large audiences as well as intimate gatherings.

His upbeat presentation combines factual information with anecdotes from years of caring for his mother (who died from Alzheimer’s).  In 2014, the Alzheimer’s Foundation named him the Dementia Care Professional of the Year, a national award.

As Founder of the Dementia Friendly Business Project, he developed the training that has been used to educate over 100 organizations on recognizing the signs of dementia and how to interact with clients that may have it.
