Dementia Friendly Orange County – One Year Old!

Dementia Friendly Orange County (DFOC) recently celebrated its one-year anniversary training local organizations to recognize the signs of dementia and be more accommodating to people who may have it.   To date, nearly 50 businesses, non-profit entities and public sector organizations and have participated in this program.

WCHL (97.9FM) recently became a Certified Business and invited DFOC to talk about our progress and spread the word.   Pictured are Lorenzo Mejia, DFOC Founder and Acorn owner and Marie Dagger, from the Orange County Department on Aging.
